OCTASK Corp. Terms & Conditions
These terms govern the use of OCTASK Corp.'s freight coordination and logistics services.
Service Agreement
By submitting a shipment request or booking freight services with OCTASK Corp., the customer agrees to the terms outlined below.
OCTASK Corp. operates as a freight coordination and logistics management service, working with licensed transportation carriers and logistics partners to arrange shipments.
Booking & Payment Terms
• A 15% booking fee is required to secure and confirm transportation services.
• 35% of the total shipment cost is due at pickup.
• The remaining 50% balance is due upon delivery.
Failure to provide required payments may result in shipment delays, suspension, or cancellation of transport services.
Late Payment
Outstanding balances may incur interest charges in accordance with applicable Ontario laws.
OCTASK Corp. reserves the right to hold or delay release of cargo where legally permitted until outstanding balances are paid.
Shipment Accuracy
Customers must provide accurate shipment information including:

dimensions
-
weight
-
number of items
-
pickup location
-
delivery location
-
cargo description
Additional charges may apply if shipment details differ from those originally provided.
Carrier Responsibility
OCTASK Corp. operates as a logistics coordination and freight management company. While OCTASK Corp. maintains its own registered operating authorities including CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration – Ontario) and U.S. MC/DOT registration, certain shipments may also be fulfilled through a network of trusted and properly licensed transportation partners.
These carriers are selected based on reliability, licensing compliance, and operational capability to safely transport customer cargo.
When third-party carriers are used, the carrier physically transporting the shipment assumes responsibility for the transportation of goods in accordance with applicable transportation laws and regulations.
OCTASK Corp. remains responsible for coordinating logistics, communication, scheduling, and shipment management throughout the transport process.
Liability
Liability coverage for shipments is subject to the terms and insurance policies provided by the assigned carrier or additional insurance coverage selected for the shipment.

Transport schedules, pickup times, and delivery estimates may vary depending on:

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
